Thank you for visiting WTAviation’s introductory website.

WTAviation, Inc., formerly West Tennessee Aviation, has moved its facility to Mayfield Ky. M25. WTA started business in 1988, specializing in King Air, Cheyenne and PT6 maintenance. Owner Gordon Wade is an Air Force veteran, Embry-Riddle graduate and former Director of Maintenance with Memphis Aero Corp and AMR Combs MEM. We strive to maintain a close relationship with our customers during and after maintenance. Our size promotes a personal relationship and helps operators to be more involved with their maintenance.

Our objective is to provide fair, accurate, cost effective maintenance, enhancing reliability and safety over other options. FAR 91.409(e)(f) requires turboprop owners to follow manufacturer’s published guidelines. Beechcraft and Piper have very clear schedules for inspection frequencies, periodic special inspections, replacement and overhaul intervals. We provide each aircraft a working Excel forecasting report the operator can update to predict upcoming items.

Overhaul and Hot Section

We offer options for FAA or Pratt approved shops. We monitor each overhaul or hot section repair for fair priced parts, unapplied warranty and overlooked discounts. Many maintenance providers lack the experience or incentive to question large invoice totals. We work hard at “trying to keep it fair”.

M.O.R.E. STC

If extened TBO is an option. WTAviation has been a MORE support center for several years and offers dynamic vibration survey and balance to put engines on the 8000 Hr. TBO program.
